The Working Man's Triathlon does not believe in handicaps. We golf 18 holes, followed by three games of scratch bowling, culminating with a double-elimination 8-ball tournament. Everyone has one weak event - which is yours?

Founded in 1991 in Santa Barbara, CA, the WMT has had over 25 competitions, spanning 4 states. There have been three national championship finals in Las Vegas, NV. The traveling trophy has 25 names on it and the winner keeps it for one year - returning to defend it,

Participating every year are some of the best golfers, bowlers and pool sharks in America. SCORING: with 30 competitors, 1st place in each sport gets 30pts, 2nd 29pts, etc. Player with highest point total at the end is the champion. Nobody has ever won all three sports.

Aside from a portion of entry fees going to the WHOA, our players may donate additional entry fees to veterans who would like to participate in our tournament. Or, you may make a donation to the Working Man's Triathlon, as a SPONSOR. In return, you or your company will be printed on our flyers, t-shirts and website as benefactors to this cause.
